Product description Turkish tea, called Tea (pronounced as a tea), which has a temperate climate with high rainfall and fertile soils consumed without milk, is produced on the eastern Black Sea coast black tea. Turkish tea is typically prepared using two stacked kettles (teapots) specially designed for tea preparation. The water is boiled in a larger lower kettle, and then some of the water is used to fill a smaller kettle and plant a few spoonfuls of loose tea leaves, resulting in a very strong tea. When served, the remaining water is used to dilute the tea individually, giving each consumer the choice between strong (Turkish: dark; literally “dark”) or weak (Turkish: light; literally “light”). The tea, in addition to showing its color, is drunk from small cups to enjoy hot with beet sugar cubes (Turkish: cut sugar). Turkey has the highest per capita consumption of tea in the world – 2.5 kg per capita-followed by the United Kingdom (2.1 kg per capita). Tea is an important part of Turkish culture. Serving tea to guests is a part of Turkish hospitality, tea is most commonly consumed in households, shops and mostly in kirathane, the social community of Turkish men.
